Day One 12-21-15: Sean, Rose, Michael, and I started off with a nice lunch at Buzz's in Lanikai. We stopped a few times on the way to take in the beauty of the ocean and the shoreline. When we were leaving the restaurant after lunch, President Obama's motorcade drove by. Of course, I was in the restroom at the time and missed it but it was still pretty exciting. On the way back we stopped at Waimanalo Bay hoping to relax in the sun but soon discovered it was a little too cool and windy. Michael drove through Waimanalo to show Rose the farms in the back of the valley. He also showed her the Koko Head trailhead in Hawaii Kai. We ate dinner at home (chili w/ rice and salad).
