Maui Trip: January 2, 2020 Above the Clouds

Haleakala National Park:  Michael, Sugar, Sean, and Rose stopped for lunch at the Kula Lodge on our way to Haleakala National Park. From there we drove up to both the Pu’u’ula’ula Summit and the Kalahaku Overlook and found ourselves in an unworldly environment above the clouds. I was in total awe.

Maui Trip: January 1, 2020 The Road to Hana

The Road to Hana: Michael, Sugar, Sean, and Rose drove a portion of Hana Road. We turned around at the very beautiful and rugged Ke'anae Peninsula. On the return drive we took a short hike at the Ke'anae Arboretum.

Maui Trip: January 1, 2020 - An Ancestral Connection

Pai'a Chinese Cemetery - Michael, Sugar, Sean, and Rose visit the gravesites of Michael's grandparents. Michael was unaware that his grandparents were still alive growing up so it was nice to finally make this connection to his family's past.
